One of the biggest differences homeowners discover about us is how we treat them. Although our homes may be state-of-the-art, our approach to customer service is very old fashioned.

We realize that real estate is a big investment, so to make the process easier every customer has close contact with one of InSight’s Homeowner Service Representatives, who works tirelessly to make every aspect of the sales and occupancy process as seamless and straightforward as possible. No detail is too small for them to take care of. This attitude and exceptional care has earned us the trust of homeowners in all of our communities.

But Homeowner Service doesn’t end with the sale. From the Orientation and Pre-Occupancy Walkthrough to our ongoing Service Program we’re standing by to help you with anything you need.  Discover a defect? We’ll fix it. Need some renovation or other help around your home?  For a nominal charge, we can arrange something on your behalf. (Or maybe even do it ourselves.)

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

ORIENTATION AND PRE-OCCUPANCY WALKTHROUGH

Before taking possession, all homeowners are taken on a detailed, room-by-room orientation walkthrough of their new home by one of our Homeowner Service Representatives. Any items needing attention will be addressed to ensure your satisfaction before you move in. It´s also an opportunity to learn all the ins and outs of your new home including items such as warranty information, special instructions for appliances, in addition to maintenance and cleaning tips to help protect your important investment.

 

MOVING IN

We´ll remind you of things to do or resources to call in preparation for your move-in. On the day of move-in, you'll be met by your Homeowner Service Representative who'll hand over your keys and ensure you have everything you need to help the day go as smoothly as possible.

 

HOMEOWNER MANUAL

All homeowners are given a comprehensive Homeowner's Manual that provides helpful information and tips regarding the finishing specifications, amenities, maintenance and operation of many features in their new home (i.e. important contact numbers, information about menities offered, and building features such as entry phone, garage access, parking, etc., property management and strata information, care and maintenance tips, and warranty information).

 

ONGOING SERVICE

Our Homeowner Services Department is on hand to take care of any problem that may arise. Call or email your request and it will be taken care of immediately. Because with InSight, service doesn't just end once you move in

 

ONE YEAR LATER

We're committed to repair or replace any defective materials in your home within one year of the date of delivery.

WARRANTIES

All InSight communities are covered with the 1-2-5-10 Year New Home Warranty.

 

InSight provides third-party warranty coverage on all new homes. Each 1-2-5-10

guarantee covers a minimum of:

                                           

                                             ·  One year for defects in materials and materials,

                                             ·  Two years for defects in materials and labour related to delivery and                                                                     distribution systems

                                             ·  Five years coverage for defects in the building envelope

                                             ·  Ten years coverage for structure defects​

 

We also provide a One Year Warranty from the date of possession on individual homes as well as a Common Property Warranty commencing on the first owner’s date of possession. 

 

Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada provides third party warranties for all our homes. Travelers has been the leader in providing superior warranty coverage for new homes since the introduction of the Homeowner Protection Act in British Columbia in 1999.
